Dulaney Foundation The Dulaney Foundation

The Dulaney Foundation is a non-profit organization that is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and provides continuing medical education programs for healthcare professionals. Through our collaboration with other CME stakeholders, the Dulaney Foundation sponsors CME activities annually that are local, national and international.


Accredited since 1989, The Dulaney Foundation is committed to supporting independent educational activities that foster increased understanding of scientific, clinical, and healthcare issues. Our CME activities are in full accordance with the recommendations and guidance of:

  • Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)
  • Office of Inspector General (OIG) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
  • Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA)
  • Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed)

David D. Dulaney, MD

Dr. Dulaney is the founding member of the Dulaney Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors as the Chairman.

Guy M. Kezirian, MD, FACS

Guy M. Kezirian, MD, FACS, is President of SurgiVision® Consultants, Inc., an ophthalmic consulting firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona. His company's activities include the administration of several regulatory trials for FDA, the approval of new devices, development and distribution of ophthalmic software applications, and industry-related consulting to the financial and ophthalmic industries. A board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Kezirian is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the European Society of Refractive Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. He has served as the Co-Program Chairman for the Aspen Invitational Refractive Symposium since 2001 and is on the editorial advisory boards of several ophthalmic publications. Dr. Kezirian has served on the Board of Directors for the Dulaney Foundation since 2004.

Mark Rosenberg

Mark Rosenberg is the Executive Director of the Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center. Mark's experience in ophthalmology spans 15 years. His primary focus is on practice development and the uses of technological advancements in the healthcare environment. Mark routinely speaks to physician groups on topics such as business structure, risk management, medical malpractice, and outcomes data systems. Mark joined the Dulaney Foundation in 2004.

Stephen G. Slade MD, FACS

Stephen G. Slade MD, FACS, is the Chief Surgeon at Slade and Baker Vision in Houston, Texas and specializes in cataract, corneal and refractive surgery. A board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Slade is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He serves on numerous Ophthalmic Boards including the Executive Committee of the American Academy of Ophthalmology/ International Society of Refractive Surgery.

Dr. Slade has served as Chief Investigator on many FDA Trials and has presented several technologies to the FDA for approval. He has won numerous awards and named lectures including the Barraquer Award, the highest award given for refractive surgery. He is on the editorial advisory boards of several ophthalmic publications. He currently serves as the Co-Program Chairman for the Aspen Invitational Refractive Symposium. Dr. Slade has served on the Board of Directors for the Dulaney Foundation since 2007.
